New Senior Management to Lead Razorsight's Expansion Plans

Strategic appointments to facilitate growth in India

BANGALORE, INDIA - July 17, 2006 - Razorsight Corporation, a market leader and innovator of intelligent data capture and financial business intelligence software, today announced three senior management appointments in India to drive company’s growth. Razorsight performs its software development in India and has aggressive plans to expand footprints in Bangalore.

The new appointments include two senior management additions in product development. Sriman Narayan and Shyamantak Gautam both bring considerable product development experience to Razorsight. Vasudha Mangalam, a HR veteran will lead Razorsight’s talent building, employee development and facilities management functions in India which are critical to company’s growth plans.

Sriman joins Razorsight as the General Manager and Head of India Operations. He adds a variety of skills that integrate the business needs of an organization with a technology focus. Prior to joining Razorsight, Sriman was responsible for delivery of solutions to Adea International’s customers in Europe and the Americas. Sriman has 16 years of experience in serving U.S. customers and markets. He has delivered product design and engineering for a multitude of customers. As Chief Technology Officer and ISV Business Unit Head of Vmoksha Technologies, he has established and managed development centers for the company in Bangalore.

Vasudha Mangalam joins Razorsight as Director Human Resources and Administration. Her experience includes nine years of diverse functions in human resources and other specialist areas. Her appointment is very crucial as she will be responsible for leading Razorsight’s rapid personnel growth by recruiting the best possible talent and skills available. Her expertise in people management and cross-functional skills helped her in leading the growth of Yahoo! India R&D centre to over 300 employees from just five. She brings versatility and energy to her role helping to build strategic leadership depth, while creating a performance oriented culture and work environment with best HR practices. Prior to Yahoo!, Vasudha played key leadership roles in several start-up companies.

Gautam Shyamantak joins Razorsight as Director Product Development. He brings nine years of experience in enterprise level product development, and more than four years of experience in global data synchronization and product information management. Prior to joining Razorsight he was a Development Manager with IBM. He brings extensive experience in product delivery. As a Technical Architect for Trigo, Gautam was a significant contributor in the product architecture, thereby ensuring that the product was scalable and met performance benchmarks. During his tenure with Wipro, Gautam developed tools for the financial vertical including portfolio rebalancing and financial projection tools for clients including JPMorgan Chase and Charles Schwab.

Razorsight was founded in Washington, D.C. in April 2001. Recently, Razorsight received $10 million in venture funding from Sierra Ventures. Razorsight has developed innovative software that provides financial executives with business intelligence derived from capturing and analyzing the most detailed data on paper or electronic invoices.
