Build and Release Manager

Job Description:

  • Configuration Management of entire Razorsight Product lines worldwide.
  • Document Control.
  • Should be able to coordinate changes with development, implementation and Production team and technical support to ensure a complete understanding of any change in the system.
  • Plan builds along with development team and handle release management across multiple products and platforms.
  • Manage CM databases; VSS and Perforce.
  • Reviewing existing CM processes and assisting in development, planning and implementation of CM process changes
  • Ensuring the integrity of all software, document and hardware baselines are maintained and that the appropriate distribution mechanisms are in place for release of baselines.
  • Ensure software quality and stability by developing and maintaining configuration management standards that ensure careful, reliable, measurable and repeatable automated software build processes across all environments.
  • Coordinate, administer and schedule the code migration process, including source repositories as well as physical integrated builds, validating that checkout and signoff procedures are documented and that all standards have been followed.
  • Identify and develop policies, patterns, procedures and automated tools for branching, labeling, merging, check-in / check-out, software builds, etc to suit the needs of the business and the software development lifecycle.
  • Create and maintain scripts used to facilitate the build, configuration, and reporting processes.
  • Generate technical release notes to accompany each release and create deployment packages to be handed off to the release team.
  • Troubleshoot build and release problems and implement solutions.
  • Work closely with the technology group, project teams and Operations to anticipate, document, and fulfill environmental needs for successful builds, and address environmental issues as they arise.
  • Provide appropriate metrics and status to management including reports on the configuration status of development, test and production environments.

Experience Required:

  • B.E / M Tech in Computer Science/ E&C/Information Technology.
  • 4 – 6 years of development experience out of with 3+ years experience in Configuration and Build management.
  • Good experience in multi-site VSS and Perforce.
  • Good hands on OS knowledge of Windows and Linux.
  • Good experience in Configuration Management of multi location development environment.

Business Analyst/Quality Analyst

Job Description:

Documents the requirements sent by the Business Analyst team in the US.

Experience Required:

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develops technical documents to be used by the developer and an artifact document.
  • Clarifies the requirements during the development phase and perform random quality checks post development.
  • Creates mapping documents for EDI formats from the given invoices.
  • Tests the outputs generated by the Implementation team and sends the feedback to the Implementation team for changes.
  • Supports the Implementation team and Production team for mapping and business issues.

  • Good exposure to computers and automated systems.

Business Objects Designer - Product Development

Job Description:

Position will be responsible for installing, setting up, designing and maintaining Business Intelligence aspects of product line using Business Objects.

Experience Required:

  • Extensive experience in analysis to design the Universes and Business Objects Reports to support the user requirements. Create complex views to overcome loops and contexts. Use aggregate awareness in universes and Created Reports employing functionality like Queries, Slice and Dice, Drill down, Functions & Formulae.
  • Experience in Production and Technical Support activities and managing production rollouts.
  • Experience in relational and dimensional data modeling and logical and physical database design.
  • Implement and enhance SQL queries and PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, Table Partitions, functions and triggers using Oracle SQL.
  • Experience in integration of various data sources like Oracle, MS access.
  • Highly skilled, self motivated team player, outstanding organizational skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills with positive attitude.

EDI Business Analyst

Job Description:

  • The emphasis of the EDI Business Analyst is on gaining a thorough understanding of various Supplier Implementation Guide requirements, translating those requirements into a Functional Requirements Document and relaying those requirements to Product Development so that they can be successfully implemented. The EDI Business Analyst will be required to provide FRD’s across all product lines. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to develop an excellent working relationship with the developers while providing customer focused design specifications that meet the business needs. 
  •  The EDI Business Analyst will develop and promote standard procedures for functional design and analysis, business rules and specifications, and development of project deliverables such as business requirements documents, functional design documents, project estimates/plans, test plans, end user training and documentation.

Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s/Masters degree in a Business or Engineering
  • Experience: 2-5 years experience in Telecommunications Industry and knowledge of EDI 811 for Telecommunications
  • In-Depth knowledge of EDI invoicing, to preferably include EDI 811 for Telecommunications & EDI 810.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced and technical environment
  • Demonstrated experience with product/project life cycles and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple efforts with minimal direction. Initiative and resourcefulness are critical skills.
